BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- A single charge of Attempted Murder has been laid against 40-year-old Cleon Doyling in connction with a recent shooting incident in Challengers.
Police charged Doyling for the November 19th shooting incident that left 61-year-old Challenger resident Clyde Clarke nursing a serious injury.
Investigations into the shooting revealed that just after midnight on Friday, Clarke was in his outside kitchen when a lone gunman entered the premises and shot at him. He received a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was then transported to the JNF General Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery and was said to be in a stable condition.
Doyling was charged yesterday (Nov. 21) and has since been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
